The Yak, LN-HAC is now LY-HLZ based in Swizz. However a new member, Trond Sørgård, has bought another Yak-52.
This is LN-IGB, the first Yak-52 imported to Norway and it is a -88 modell.
Sad story, but IGB was crushed in a hangar collaps january/february 2011. A process of finding a replacement is done and now the only Norwegian Yak-52W (western) is on a permit to fly as LN-LBS.
Håvard Nærø had the honor to do the first test flight. This bird flew straight as whistle. Perfect rigging, big propeller. First thing to do list, change VSI to read more than 2000 feet climb!
To be seen on big airshows next year, at Sola and Bodø.
